Elise McVeigh
Owner and CEO of Elise McVeigh’s Life Camp and Mrs. McVeigh's MannersA former journalist, Elise wrote a weekly manners advice column for ten years for the Dallas Morning News. She is the author of dozens of children’s books, writes a weekly blog, and out May 2020, a book published by Callisto Media called “A Parents Guide to Manners for Kids.”
Elise started Elise McVeigh’s Life Camp seminar company (for 6th grade – adults) in 2001. The topics covered includes etiquette, everyday manners, and how to get organized. McVeigh and staff travel across the U.S. to give fun and interactive seminars.
In 2003, Mrs. McVeigh’s Manners children’s manners school for ages 3 – 5th grade was established. McVeigh and staff are proud to have taught thousands of children her fun and simple method of learning and remembering good manners. McVeigh has created original manners workbooks, story books, coloring books, set the table placemats, games, and get organized check-off charts.
McVeigh resides in Dallas with her husband Daniel, who she married in 1990. Together they have three sons who are young adults, named Griffin, Grant and Reagan.
